4a, Nivaa Centralskole, Denmark

We have made a story-line course about the Viking period. Before

starting the assignment we read about the Viking period and researched

how the Vikings lived, were dressed, lived and what they believed in.

When we had read, found pictures and discussed the course of action we

drew a Viking landscape on the entire backwall. This landscape was

placed, geographically, at the fjord of Roskilde, because we knew that

there has been real Vikings at this place. Then we each chose a

character to live in the landscape, this character was drawn on

cardboard and then you could move the figures around. Then character

sketches were written. Now the stories could be written, and these

were recorded on tape.
